You are right, oops. We turned Sherrod into a receiver right?Sherrod Harris was a backup to Colt. Jerrod Heard played for Strong and Herman. Which one are you talking about?

I wonder why we don't hear any NIL news out of Texas like we do from Ohio St or Oregon? Why is Texas seemingly trying to keep it's nose clean while other schools are borderline cheating and hoping NIL rules will allow what they are doing? This is frustrating to me considering Texas is the #1 money brand in college sports.Until Texas starts buying some guys for the trenches, we’ll continue to lose to Teams we should beat. It’s time to use the financial advantages Texas has. Make somebody slap our hands over this NIL rule. Make the kids sign on the spot. I’m tired of the sunshine fluff and Kate gifs (not really), I want to see recruiting results. Early playing time and large NIL contracts should be promised now to be the big uglies
I’ve wondered the same thing. Thought I read somewhere that Texas state law was a factor, but I couldn’t find anything to back that up.I wonder why we don't hear any NIL news out of Texas like we do from Ohio St or Oregon? B. Thompson says hi. The DL room is very crowded how many are beasts only future will tell. All in favor of as many beasts in the trenches as possible. Add to that a couple that can get after the pass rusher and another electric game breaker like Worthy (Stewart) and games like this might become less the norm.
I agree on both points. How many of our current DL strike fear or cause an opposing OC to scheme to negate them or even better have the ability to take over a game. I thought maybe Alfred would this year but he may be better suited as an athletic 3 tech in a 4 man line.B. Thompson says hi. The DL room is very crowded how many are beasts only future will tell.
What is cheating when it pertains to NIL? Nobody knows. Donors could offer every signee a Million dollar contract from their businesses the minute they sign the LOI. All the kid has to do is one commercial, sign one autograph, make one appearance at a party, etc…. No rules broken. It’s time the Texas donors started doing it, or Texas better stay away from the secI wonder why we don't hear any NIL news out of Texas like we do from Ohio St or Oregon? Scheme can change, getting a hat and hands on somebody and sustaining a block doesn’t though.I agree on both points. As for the OL we have, how many different blocking schemes has Texas tried to implement over the past decade? Seems every couple years we are trying something different and recruiting for that scheme. Have to wonder if what we currently have fits what Flood and Sark want to do scheme wise, let alone ability wise.
Either way, we are in need of difference makers on both lines.IMO
It's easier than that. I can assure you that there are several auto dealers who will make sure the right players don't have to worry about transportation while they go to school here. Likely the same in every big college town.Until Texas starts buying some guys for the trenches, we’ll continue to lose to Teams we should beat. It’s time to use the financial advantages Texas has. Would seem to speak to the lack of development of quality players over the past decade. Only time will tell if this staff will do any better but the last two have wasted more than a few quality football players. I know, I know, just another excuse.
We suck until we don't.
Ill be the first to say it, Gary Patterson for DC. He is looking for a job now.Yes we do......
Also interesting that IT mods are calling for PK to be fired already.
