The picture below is a photo of the helmet that Iowa State will wear against Iowa. I hate it.

Black is not a school color for Iowa State. It is actually one of the colors of their coming opponent, which also has black helmets.

I have no idea how you look at this helmet and think Iowa State. You don't. You think Jerry Glanville disease, which is actually a mutation of Johnny Cash disease.

Be true to your colors.

Oh wait, I can't post pictures here anymore for some reason. I tried to go and delete as it said I hit my limit, but found no option to do so. Oh well, take my word for it on the helmet.

Agreed on the ISU helmet. Not a fan of all the move toward black helmets when they aren't part of the school colors. Really glad Texas has not given in to the fad. That said, I expect ISU to handle Iowa at home Saturday.

I also heard via a friend that they didn't play the National Anthem before the Tampa Bay vs Dallas NFL game, they played a different one. Sad what has become of this country.

Sad state indeed regarding The Eyes. I respect that the admin has continued to have it played and hope that they will stick to it. As for the Anthem, it was played right before kickoff of the Dallas/TB game. Wasn't sure if it was going to be but it was.

Michelle Williams (Destiny's Child) sang the anthem. It was aired on the broadcast. It was a poppy version of it but she still hit all the notes.
