Does Odom have history with either Sark or the Ogre?
No with sark and that’s a great thing IMO Tom Herman never got out of his comfort zone until it was too late and it seems sark is on the mission of building the best staff possible not just the staff that was full of yes men that he is comfortable with.

as far as coach O is concerned Im not sure

15 years ago today. Sark was on the sidelines. :)

Maybe they do in the Rock. I think Odom was great the first couple of weeks, but the wheels definitely came off later in the season. To his defense they were banged up and the lack of depth became an issue. But go back and look at that Missouri game. Mizz drove 75 yards in 46 seconds almost exclusively on the ground against Odom's defense. Odom and Pittman are very tight, so it would take a lot to pry him away from Arkansas IMO. Go Warriors! A kid I covered all through high school at Pea Ridge was a beast at Hendrix -- Dayton Winn.
But did you watch the hogs?  Just looking at stats doesn’t do it.  They went from 0 to 3 conference wins (should have been 5).  He took a kid off the streets and was forced to start him at corner (who had I think 3 picks in a game).  Their all American linebacker you mentioned played half the season with 1 arm (dislocated shoulder I believe).  The Miss St game where he made a pic to seal the game he couldn’t even lift his arm above his chest.  Talk about injury depleted just doesn’t begin to explain what they went through.  Sign me up for Odom!  And yes, the hogs love him.

I would be just as happy to keep Ash.  But to say Odom is a let down is a joke.  He would kill it here with better athletes.

And only reason I know anything about the hogs is due to my best friend.  Between the horns and hogs, there were a lot of drunk Saturday’s

That would be a good job for him.
Did you see some of the responses on that thread? Wonder why so many don't like Graham Harrell. I thought he'd done pretty well there.

One said "Great news!" and another said "I'll pack his bags."

I expect some movement tomorrow it’s crazy that we don’t have a strength coach hire yet Herman and Strong made those right away... also OB mentioned earlier that sark is reaching out to recruiting directors at other top programs around the country and that one was open to having carrington work under him. So I’m not sure that carringtons role with sark is gonna be as recruiting director. Apparently usc really wants him

I wouldn't be surprised to see BC go.

Herman and Strong weren't trying to coach a national championship the week they took the job. I'll cut him some slack.

You want to hire the coaches who are recruiters, so on January 12 they can hit the ground running. Although a strength coach name came up Ivan in Seattle who has a history of players getting hurt.

I dont think they have been impressed by his lack of recruiting acumen or 90+% passing "air raid offense.  I've seen comments that they dont consider him a good x & o coach and play caller.

Idk if I buy that name because we are hearing that sark is going after National talent with support staff so I wouldn’t be surprised to see us go steal someone’s strength coach

I think if he stays, it would be good for him to work directly under a professional in that position.  I think BC was given way too much latitude

Bob Shipley followed sark on Twitter so here’s to hoping he sticks around. I don’t love the fact that they actually play but I do love our walk-on program

Man not to just shit on Herman because it’s the easy thing to do right now but what a breath of fresh air. Herman came in and was arrogant and fired everyone upon arrival even when we had great coaches like Traylor on board. I like how sark is at least open to keeping good people
