Prediction thread – Texas vs Kansas State

With all the defections this week, plus now playing without any real conference goals, I am fully expecting a let down this week. Until this week, I thought Texas would clean KSU's clock as the Cats haven't been a good football team recently. However, they are getting some players back from Covid and injury so they will be better. We will be worse.

I also expect our TDs to be scored in the first 1.5 quarters, we drag our feet for the rest of the game and look like crap, Sam spends most of the day dealing with a collapsing pocket, and we barely hold on thanks to our defense.

If we lose, Tomcat better be fired by the end of Sunday.

Texas will lose this game because of one thing:  too many distractions, did not have a great week of practice, poor coaching, penalties, lack of focus, missed assignments, lack of motivation, lack of unity, bad calls, players quitting, the band shows up but won't play "The Eyes", half the team is at the airport hoping to meet UM, but the game is played in Manhattan...

Truthfully, I do miss hearing the fight song and "The Eyes" blaring out over the speakers. Gets my blood pumping faster than Kate Beckinsale unless she's announcing that Quin Ewers is recommitting to us.
