*****#14 Texas Baseball vs. Rice - Tuesday 6:30 PM GAME THREAD*****

Sunday's game in Waco was cancelled due to bad weather, but the Longhorns are back in action on Tuesday as they host the Rice Owls at Disch-Falk Field.  

Texas defeated the Owls 11-4 in the first matchup between the two schools, at Reckling Park in Houston on February 19th.

The Longhorns own the all-time series lead against Rice 228-58-2 and will look to extend that record this evening.

First pitch gets underway at 6:30 PM and the game will be televised on Longhorn Network.

He was actually calling for a review when they called a Longhorn safe earlier, and now he’s bragging on Rice players. 

Seriously, I never want people to lose their jobs, but with Lowell I’m on the edge. Maybe a demotion?

Ford finding his swing. BA nearing .300.  Coming on at the plate after early struggles.  Good for him.

Hey Seamheads, work (where the heck did that come from-I just got back from vacation for goodness sakes!) called. 

I’m back at the helm this weekend. Good win tonight. Madden was up to 94 on the gun and was effective, as was the rest of the Texas pitching staff. Bocchi, Stevens, Ivey and Diaz all had solid outings. 

Ellis with a 2/3 night at the plate as well as Todd & Ford.
