With #2, 6, 7 & 8 losing, where will Texas fall. Georgia won't fall far enough to make a difference for Texas. Will LSU make a significant move like all $EC teams after an upset?

I'm thinking Texas at 7 with LSU and Georgia ahead of them.

I agree, there are plenty of weeks left for us to march to the top 4. It still comes down to the playoff selection committee to decide.

Wouldn't be shocked if we stayed the same or even dropped one place. I think possibly 3 teams move ahead of us, LSU, UCF, and Michigan. Georgia will also stay ahead of us as well.  

And I really wouldn't have a big argument with any of that.

Just would not have shocked me to see them move up simply because they are undefeated. And, just to clarify, I'm not saying that they should.

Agreed, as fans we have to keep the expectations of this team realistic, I do not like that are ranked so high, this team is not a national title contender

The rankings aren't based on fan's expectations. They have earned that ranking. Where would you rank them?

I don't care about national rankings at the moment, this team needs to focus on being #1 in the Big 12

And if they continue winning, they'll keep climbing in the polls. That will get them closer to winning the B12 and possibly becoming a playoff contender. Not sure about your comment about them being a title contender.

I am sorry but I think we are ranked much higher than we should as I do not see us being better than Georgia, Florida, and a few others.  I think we belong somewhere between #11 and #15 honestly and that West VA and Tech could add a two more losses to our resume before conference play ends.

When everyone's seasons are complete there will only be a handful of teams that are undefeated and/or only have one loss. While we still have some work to do, we can make a strong case for being one of those teams. Where we are now can only help to get us in the playoffs or a ny6 bowl. Let's just worry about the teams on our schedule and we'll be fine.
