Not great news here. Johnson was carted off with an injury this evening.

Heres hoping it isn’t too serious. Wishing the young man a speedy recovery.

Tweet looks to have been deleted, Daniel, but I have a buddy on the field and evidently Johnson has had a nagging ankle all week.  According to my contact, Roschon re-aggravated the ankle and is being taken in for X-Rays.  The injury occurred when the score was 24-14.  PNG ended up losing 34-14 and Johnson didn’t have a spectacular game tonight.

When I hear more I’ll post it here.

Also, it’s worth noting that as he was being carted off the field took his helmet off and just banged the heck out of it on the cart. The whole students section put up the hook’em horns sign.

I can confirm Aaron’s earlier post on it being an ankle injury that was reaggravated for Johnson. He will be back at some point, but not before he is deemed 100%.

Was playing Huntsville, did you hear anything on how Sweat looked?

I read on another site from folks that were there that sweat didn’t play well at all and looked sluggish. But he was also going head to head with 2020 recruit Garth and was getting man handled.

Well they lied . sweat and huntsville were always in the backfield. Our line was piss poor.  Sweat looked huge and was unblockable unless garth was on him. Garth held his own when sweat lined up against him

So half lied. Correct on Garth being beast mode. Don’t shoot the messenger here lol thanks for clarifying. Hope Rojo recovers quickly to enjoy his senior year

Sweat is a little over 260. He looks like a grown man, and is working hard.

Hook ‘em to all our young Horns!
