I've taken my grief from the members of this board who believe Herman can do no wrong and who attacked me for objecting to Herman's lapses in bringing in Casey Horny and Reese Leitao. Two scumbags are two two many.

I stand by my supposition that we don't have to let Tom Herman turn UT football into a scumbag program to be competitive.

Casey Horny is a scumbag who has been kept on the UT payroll by a coach who is indifferent to scumbag staff members.

And now we get the stories that Herman wanted to bring in two more disgusting scumbags in Kendall Briles and Randy Clements.

If Tom Herman can't compete as a head coach without running a scumbag program, why do we want Tom Herman as head coach?

I cannot understand how people on this board are so willing to let UT football become what so many people find reviling, just to see UT football do better than 7-6. Personally, I would rather see UT football fold than follow Tom Herman's vision of scumbag football. We don't need to be Baylor to be successful. Evidently, Tom Herman doesn't believe that.

Casey Horny, Kendall Briles and Randy Clements on the UT staff, coaching the likes of Reese Leitao, and no one here has a problem with that? Really? Not one of the four should be allowed to set foot on the UT campus.

I have no problem stating that I find the thought of hiring Casey Horny, Kendall Briles, or any of the Baylor rape culture is disgusting.

Tell me, whet is the message you are trying to send? That you agree with Horny, Briles and Clements in that Art Briles was the true victim?

UT Austin is turning into a scumbag program under Tom Herman, all because he can't get past six wins any other way. I find that disgusting.

Casey Horny has no business being on the UT campus. He is scum. That Herman would have considered hiring Kendall Briles is unforgivable. Just wait until what happened at Baylor happens on the UT campus. It angers me than so many people are indifferent to that happening. All because Tom Herman can't beat Texas f##king Tech without his scumbags.

My problem is that the story isn't totally dismissed on its face. Once Herman brought Horny onto his staff, and then allowed Leitao on the roster, it became a legitimate question how much further he would cross the lines of integrity.

It is frustrating that UT Austin can't bring in a coach of demonstrated integrity and will continuously need to be stained with the fallout of Herman's bringing Horny, Leitao and whomever else Herman brings on to the campus.

If Herman had just taken the high road, considered the interests of the program instead of arrogantly insisting his radioactive buddy be put on the payroll, he could have avoided a lot of the problem. Not a Mensa move.

There isn’t a “story” in regards to Briles or Clements to UT. This is silly to run with right now.

Yeah, it really is dismissed on its face. You had ample space and time to make the case, but you chose not to or just couldn't.

You spent the entire post talking about how you feel, which did nothing to answer Seahorn's inquiry.

I'm like Daniel, I've heard the rumor nowhere from no one. I'm not sure you didn't just throw that out there to justify another hate storm on Herman. And you've said nothing new since months ago when you last visited this topic.

Lets be honest here. Really no one standing 25 ft from you really even knows who Casey Horny is, where he came from or what he does. No one.
