How is there no game thread tonight? 

Here's the skinny:

Horns jump out to a 30-13 lead with 4:27 left in the first half.  Hitting shots, making plays.  ISU is cold. 

ISU proceeds to go on a 14-1 run, to cut the lead to 4 with just over a minute to go.

Horns have a horrific offensive set to end the half.  Up 3, Texas opts to hold for the last shot; after an almost travel, two almost turnovers on bad passes, Jones somehow throws up the ugliest shot you've ever seen and it rattles in to give the Horns a 35-29 lead at the break.

Horns come out of the Half and go right to Allen.  Lead is up to 9

With some offseason weight room work, Allen has the potential to be a force down low.

Lazy pass is stolen and ISU gets a cheap layup.  Lead back down to 5, 43-38 under 16.

Yancy with a hustling rebound of a miss and putback pushes the lead to 10; ISU answers with quick 3; 47-40 Texas under 15.

Roach makes 1 of 2 FTs, and lead is now 8; 48-40

ISU gets their Thomas free for his 5th 3 of the night; lead down to 5; 48-43 under 14

Davis launches a 3 from Round Rock, missed and Texas gets the offensive board.

Roach drives the lane and draws the foul; to the line for 2

Makes them one of two; 49-43; 13:22 remaining.

Texas comes back with a miss; ISU takes it back down the court for a reverse layup

Texas is now 12/22 at the charity stripe.  We shoot FTs like Shaq.  Ugh.

Jones called for a travel after driving the lane out of control. 

ISU working the perimeter, penetrates the lane and gets a 2; 53-50; under 11

Ugly offensive possession results in a Yancy off the mark 3 as the shot clock expires.

ISU is a miss and done on the other end.

Yancy gets a spinning two in the paint to push the lead back to 55-50; under 10.

ISU with a miss off a foul and inbound play.  Texas returns the favor with another out of control Yancy travel.

ISU with a missed shot, Texas has numbers on the break but pulls it back outside.  Quick pass inside to Allen is broken up but a hold is called on ISU.

Texas inbounds and runs it's perimeter offense.  Roach misses the running layup.  ISU ball; Texas by 5 under 8

Horns and Cyclones trade misses and ISU gets another reverse layup down low.  Lead down to 3; under 7; 55-52.

Yancy misses the 3

Horns get the ball stolen, ISU pushes it and the pass up court is kicked out of bounds by Allen.
