The End is Nigh

I am really hoping that Fenves and Perrin really are smarter than we are giving them credit for.

Because it sounds like they could very well be on the verge of really messing this up.

Didn't Mack recruit foreman??? Bout tired of that statement. I realize these players love him but this tweets are irriatating. Maybe it's just my personality but if your going to threaten me to leave at my job then I say good riddance. There will be another Boyd. Hopefully strong let's them

Know he appreciates it but they'll bring in a coach and have great success etc. because this is getting out of hand. These kids arent entitled to nothing honestly... they got the priveledge of getting a scholarship to a top school to help progress them to go even further in life. School owes them nothing. I understand the love the guy but C'mon man.

It appears we have the big $ donors on one side and the players on the other with Fenves and Perrin in the middle. The irony is that it appears the only guy that can solve this problem is Charlie Strong.

These tweets just remind you that they are kids. Thats all. Millennials tend to be extra sensitive.

I completely agree, and I am the "millennial" as well but maybe I just squeaked by. That was just a rant lol I do like to read em but I just don't understand them. Then again I'm not a athletic specimen and don't understand that life style so can't really put myself in there shoes I suppose.

I think that many (not all) of these kids come from backgrounds that may lack positive role models, and many of them found a father figure in Strong. In addition, they are away from home and out of their comfort zone for the first time as well.
Now that father figure is being removed from their lives.

Your correct once again. I guess I spoke to soon. I'll just keep it at hopefully strong handles it.

All of these players twetting #STRONG makes me think that if we beat TCU, Strong will come back. Nothing personal, but I really hope that's not the case.

The coach that they see as a father figure is gone "unofficially". Don't blame them for being upset. They need a bit of time to digest and deal with it. There will be some transfers, but overall they'll calm down and move on.
Exactly. Beyond Charlie as a man and all the hurt they are feeling, Charlie is still the best coach they've ever had, more than likely, so they don't know any better.
