TCU negative crootin, blah blah.  TCU wont be the same without Boykin.  He was TCU much like VY was for us.

I still remember when the ags were talkin about Kenny Hill being a Heisman.  Look how that turned out.

i think the jury is still out on hill.  sure, he had some troubles at a&m but he gets his second chance at tcu.  let's see what he does with it.  i'm not saying he is heisman talent.  i'm saying, let's wait and see how he does.

This one does suck because I like Shavers. However, I will be happy with a Miller, Manning and Netherly haul at WR this year. WR will officially go from a position with question marks to a stacked position, IMO.

Shavers to Alabama stings, but the coaches are working hard on Manning and obviously Sam is working hard on Netherly. Will be interesting to see if another offer goes out at the position now.

Is this an offer that Saban can back out of later or is Shavers really on board? Hard to tell sometimes with Saban.

That ESPN Insider piece on Duvernay said Strong put the full court press on him, and our players as well.

They said he watched the entire Spring Game with our offensive coaches, including every throw by Buechele.

And he now twitter follows Strong, Gilbert, Williams, Traylor and Ehlinger.

Is this an offer that Saban can back out of later or is Shavers really on board? Hard to tell sometimes with Saban.

I doubt they will trap door Shavers. He was one of the hottest prospects this spring in the entire country. I'm sure he got the Julio Jones sales pitch.

I was told by someone over the weekend that Texas thinks they will get him. If they don't get him, it won't be from lack of trying.
