Juan don't let Sho see that or she will be there with a video camera in hand. PS I hope it's not cold that day. Lol

Where did last year's class rank after the defections and disqualifications of Cherry, Lampkin, Johnson, and Clarington?

Just curious
Considering only one of those kids was a likely contributor, meh.  Per composite Texas was 10th with 30 commits @ 272.52, remove the 4 and they drop to the 13th overall class with 268.47...mind you other teams lost kids as well.

We already have one DT (Wilbon) committed, and the staff has talked about Fitzgerald spending time there as well - I doubt we take 4 more DT's.
The only logical reason I can see the coaches moving Fitzgerald to DT is because of his strength and because he would probably be to slow to contain the edges on the outside as a DE.

UPDATED NOT TEXAGS BUT FROM APOSTER ON 247  . Pure gold. Aggie tears.....(THIS WAS POSTED ON OB)

"The shine is definitely off and reality is staring to set it. He's stating the obvious (we shouldn't be fighting to hold onto our commits to visit or stick against tu) and preparing us for tu winning head to head for the first time in Sumlin's tenure. In fact, the trojan horse of Jackson, Cuffee and McCullough poisoning the well with Madubuike is probably real. These guys are going to chip away at him to join them in Austin. I will reserve judgement until LOI are faxed in but this class may signal the nail in Sumlin's coffin. The two QB departures and another year with second-half collapse gave the BDF ammunition to bash Sumlin and the program.

Cholie & tu has dropped No Vaseline and Ether on Sumlin's and A&M's head. Time to boss the $#@! up and counter or kick rocks. Time to bounce if you can't beat a 6-6, 5-7 coach with complete staff turnover for guys committed to you for almost a year. It's over, Johnny."

Per 247 - we finished with 272.52 points for 30 commits (#10 overall #1 B12)

Cherry

Lampkin

Johnson

Clarington

New score - 268.47 for 26 commits which would have settled us in at #13 nationally and still #1 in the B12.  UCLA finished #12 with 268.66 points and Notre Dame finished #13 with 266.46.  Of course we all move up at least a spot when you recalculate A&M's class with the loss of Kyler Murray.  It drops them all the way down to 262.15 (260 if you drop Bradford as well) which would slot them down past Notre Dame and just above OU.

Im sure there are more changes if you go through the entire top 10 class and remove players that have already washed out or never made it to campus but the summation is that losing those 4 players really have very little impact on our final class rankings.

Sounds like no Demarkus Acy visit

Too bad, some call him Earl-Thomas-like

But ... does it indirectly confirm Elliott?

Acy not coming means Chris Brown is coming

And if Chris Brown is coming, then DJax is too

And if Chris Brown and DJax are coming, then so is the Shark

And if Shark, Chris Brown and DJax are coming then Coach DadJeans' fav DT is too

It's math so dont try and argue with it

Higs in response to a question about who is in --

".... can't believe I am going to answer this but 11 deep -- I am sitting right now at 25 kids....However, "Once" a kid drops and goes public it will impact others at the position, this is something I also try and forecast in my list of Next 11 in so to speak."

As a reminder, we have 4 EEs in school already and  10 commits including Eboh.  Which is his 11 I think

Two sides to the plan and he was a fall back option.
