Per Gerry Hamilton at ESPN, Dickson flips to Baylor. Not a huge shock since this one has been trending that way. All eyes on Davion Curtis and Dee Anderson.

Not a surprise - Was just a matter of when.  Damn good player but Texas needs to keep moving forward.

Dee Anderson is a guy that could very well flip to Texas from LSU.

Compare the two.  Would it be a solid 'trade off' to get Anderson at the expense of Dickson?

Hate to lose this one. He reminds of Dez Bryant. He was just sick in last year's title game.

I heard it's because he doesn't think Strong will be retained. Now if Strong is retained will be flip back?

I'm sure he thinks that to a lesser degree maybe but its just an excuse. Hell fell out of love and is just trying to get out the door. This way he's not a real bad guy for walking.

Hate losing him because the kid is a stud, but if you can flip Dee Anderson I won't be as upset about it. Will also be interesting to see Davion Curtis offered or if Texas truly goes after the Duvernays now.

He really liked strong but there was some negative recruiting against him. I think a lot has to do with Texas struggles offensively and then you look to Waco and see their QB is only a year older and not missing a beat

I liked Dickson, but I think the coaching staff called this when they started pursuing Sullivan. A WR class of Johnson, Mapps, and a combination of Sullivan/Anderson and Curtis is fine with me. 4 WRs are plenty.

I think people are sleeping on Johnson. I think he is going to be a stud.
This. Johnson has all the makings of an elite next level receiver. Dickson is a great football player and I would never knock his talent. With that said, Johnson has always been my favorite commit at WR.

How realistic is that?  I know have been talking about it for quite a long time - but it seems like the longer it goes, and the more struggles this Texas offense has that it become less likely Anderson would flip.  Is he still very much undecided - despite the commitment?

Shocker...The kid flaked out after the TCU game.  Go get Curtis and call it a day, he wants to be here.

I'm not going to sit here and say that I didn't want him or now we can go get someone better. I've watched Tren play in person and that dude is everything you want in a WR. Quick burst, strong, athletic, deceptive speed, high point ability, and a great route runner (which is rare in hs). I'd love to have him and still would take him back. This is probably a recruitment that's not over till signing day. Is there more talent out there? Absolutely. I'd like to see the staff go after some top tier speed now. Speed kills. Aka Curtis or Duvernay

Obviously UT needs to improve the talent at WR and the decommitment of Dickson hurts; however, don't know at this point if UT has a contingency plan that is on par with Dickson's talent level.

Can't help but ask this question to the masses, if Heard was given Coleman, Cannon and Lee from Baylor, would Heard's play be greatly enhanced, or would it simply turn that trio into average to slightly above average WR's, hmm.

Unless Heard's passing improves better recievers will not be of much helpIMO. Also who can blame a reciever for choosing Baylor or TT ot TCu better passing programs therefore better chance at next level. I had rather see a OL taken in Dickson's spot . Texas has a big number of bodies at WR.
