I wish I didn't have to write that, but I did! We gained some miracle bullshit confidence after the last two games that allowed a player or two to talk shit about Iowa St then we show up and get just destroyed. 

You dont have to be some football genius to know that showing up with a LESS THAN PROVEN running game and ZERO passing game is gonna F you. We literally told all of CFB this week "we dont care at all about the pass, we're just running." We showed up and tried to do that BS and Iowa St called our bluff. This staff should be ashamed. 

I love strong but this is utter bullshit.

Honestly I don't know how long it's going to take to turn this thing back to respectable. I thought we would be better this year but I think our record is going to end up worse. I just don't understand why it takes so long at the University of Texas. Baylor is good. TCU is good. A&M is good. Houston is good. I am starting to think Heard is not the answer. Either his game is so narrow that teams have figured him out so quickly, or he's a victim of some bad play calling and perhaps just an OL that isn't ready for prime time. Hard to say.
