Wow, what a great game between 2 HS powerhouses...  I hated to see Katy lose, they were an incredible team.  congrats to CH and I do like hearing Texas Fight as their fight song instead of Ennis last night playing aggy war hymn!

Yeah...that horns down from Anderson was uncalled for. He had a great game for Katy tonight, but his fumble inside the Cedar Hill 20 in the 3rd qtr (think it was the 3rd) was huge negative for the Tigers. If Anderson doesn't fumble there and they eventually go in for the td, the game was likely pretty much in the bag. Kathy had lots of MO up to that point.

I think it would have been kind of funny if the kid that recovered that fumble would have run by Anderson on the way off the field and waived him a hook-em sign.

Pringle - I don't think it was directed at UT... Cedar Hill is the Longhorns - they're band plays Texas Fight and their fans all use the hook 'em sign like we do.  correct me if I am wrong....

I can only imagine the heartache of many of my neighbors that were pulling for Katy to win the Grudge Match with Cedar Hill. I will take some delight in pointing out the OU commit basically cost them the game with that untimely fumble. I'll also be sure to mention the classless Horns down signal that OU shot and how Karma seemed to be at play.

Will I really? I dunno.

Thanks so much, Shevis. While HS football is always exciting, it is my hope that by featuring our recruits in the final high school season, Hornsports members will know more about them when they suite up in the Burnt Orange. It also gives you an idea of what kind of player to expect at Texas.

I'd give the Anderson kid a pass. Cedar Hill's mascot is the Longhorn and their hand signal is the same as ours. So I'm sure he was responding to that.

Now next year, all bets are off. lol

SHA, I know a little about the Kid from a Coach on the Team and he has on several occasion taken his shots at his future rival. He's all Crimson and has been a hard seller for the land thieves. Which is as he should be. However, he doesnt get a pass from me given that. To me, its just a convenient excuse for him.
