Texas better come ready to play. Long Beach State is much better than their record indicates. They've beaten Xavier and Kansas State. They almost beat BYU too. This is a team that can beat Texas if they aren't ready to play. Texas has a significant size advantage, but Long Beach State has some pretty good perimeter shooters. Hopefully we aren't flat with the Christmas break coming up.

Good analysis... sounds like a very dangerous game for the Horns... Xavier is a basketball college and KSU always has pretty good BB teams.

I suspect Barnes will have them focused and not thinking about Christmas break or taking these guys lightly!

Hook 'Em!!!

13-11 Texas early. Long Beach State has some shooters. I fully expect this Long Beach State game to be tougher than Stanford.

A&M is getting worked by another bit 12 team, K-State. I have no clue how Kennedy still has a job.

23-13 - I see good signs Horns are starting to assert themselves on LBS.  It is still early but the Horns are in control at this point..

Wow, Barnes chewed out Felix for giving up on the D effort on the last shot.

37 - 27 Horns

The only thing this first half tells me is that Long Beach St is better than UCLA.

After establishing a big lead... the Horns took their foot off the gas and let this underdog semi climb back into this game.

This is a very capable opponent Horns - better make some good adjustments at the half.

Horns  42

LBS     34

A&M loses to K-State. They are now 0-2 against the Big 12, and probably headed back to the CBI or NIT.

I am getting a little nervous... LBS is hanging around ...24-13 run...

50-46 Horns but a lot time left.
