Finally returned home and what a great Thanksgiving my family had. As for Texas I still stand with CS as our coach. We still need to give Swoops a chance to prove himself. If he can't get the job done next year then bring on Heard. Just the way I feel. My friends y'all have a great day

I believe CS is the real deal. He is not happy with this season, one that would be very easy for him to make excuses for. Instead he takes the responsibility and understands that it is ultimately his job to get things turned around.

That in itself is refreshing. He is building this team the right way. Getting rid of those that would hold the entire team back and stripping the country club mentality from these guys.

As for Swoopes, all I can say is that he will have to earn his spot during the Spring. That is all we can really ask for. The more competition we can have the better, and that goes for all the positions.

Good to hear that a you had a great Thanksgiving!

Said it many times.  Charlie is the man.  Give him time to get his recruits in.  He cares about his players and I love the new Defense swagGER.

Money and Daje on the field at the same time.  I know QB we be on topic but our Special Teams needs alot of work.

I think Tyrone Swoopes is a very good young man, but still not sure of his capabilities at the quarterback position.  I realize that he began the year as the backup to David Ash, but remember that he also had all the snaps during "spring practice".  He too often looks like a deer in the headlights.

Thank you

Charlie will be great--just look at how the D has performed with the same guys who performed miserably last year. Incredible. No one would have figured that. Offensively, given the hand that was dealt in Game 1 with season-ending injuries to Ash and on OL (plus dismissal), I really don't think even Saban would have done better. (Well, except that he would never have imposed the suspensions or maybe even dismissals and no doubt won a couple more!) Plus, just take a good, measured look at Strong in his weekly press conferences--always a few moments therein where you can see how impressive he can be with recruits and their families. I think we are in good hands here.

As far as QB is concerned, guess we'll get one hell of a measure on that one in South Bend come Sept. 5th. What a way to start.
