How much credit does TCU deserve?

Last night's result wasn't static - any game is a dynamic result where the play of your opponent dictates some percentage of your performance.

It's easier to blame the Horns. But 100% of that result isn't their responsibility. How much should be properly attributed to TCU?

Another way of looking at it - TCU, KSU, Baylor & BYU all had lopsided wins against Texas. How would you rank those 4 teams based on their performance against the Horns?

TCU played sound defense. Eight in the box to stop the run, and they forced Swoopes to beat them. I thought they were clearly the best defense we faced this year. Baylor was probably the better offense. Our defense played very well against them all. Our offense was just not adequate all year, though in our wins, they didn't beat us.

Until we get a quarterback, any good team is going to beat us.

1 KState... A shutout is a shutout isss a shutout...

2 TCU... They are the better team, it cant be overlooked that 3 of those TDs were "ball leaves hands of Swoopes. Ball enters hands of frog. tack on 6 more point immediately.

3 Bayor... I was least embarrased about this game than any of the 4.

4 BYU... Realistically we were beaten by one guy in that game... When they lost him they were a non-factor.

Our D played well enough in each of these games for us to win... IMO. As a whole each of those teams is better than us... But we as a whole are better than the final scores that we allowed. The true story is not told by the final scores in any of these games.

Tcu is one bad quarter from being undefeated. 6 TOS made it a blowout but even without the help they're better than us.

Of course they deserved to win they outplayed us.  Our defense cant be expected to do it all game long.  They still had mishaps but were very good compared to our inept offense.

TCU is just better right now.

Its so weird Baylor and TCU as top 10, while OU and Texas have struggled.  Both were doormats in the old SWC days.  So they both deserve credit.

I checked and TCU's defense has averaged giving up 30 points a game against the other seven Big 12 teams they had played before last night.

Last night's game was a reflection of the whole year, it all depends on the QB and OL position on if we win or lose the game. Five of our games we lost were to top 20 teams at this time and when we played them. BYU might be a top 20 today if they haven't lost their starting QB who did play against us.

TCU is absolutely top 4... But will get no respect as long as SEC teams can be squeezed in... No matter how well they play.
