May not be a popular opinion on this board, but I'm not too sure I'm letting some dude walk up on me at 2:00 A.M. and ask me for a hug...

I too would be leary but you have to admit he could have just said no if the so-clled victim's story is accurate.

So you guys don't like hugs? Not even a bro hug?

The way I read it ...the hug thing was not a problem for the Browns....some goof-ball trying to hug at 2:30 in the morning got hit...not something that a logical person would have a problem with (after hearing) or be cause for surprise.

The problem was that it happened at 2:30 a.m. and the Browns had a game the next day....in which Manziel may have been needed. What was he doing out and around at 2:30 in the morning...on the night before a game??

Johnny not too smart.

well aren't they supposed to have all of their players sequestered inside of a team hotel the night before a match?  i thought all teams administered this form of security blanket...

I'm not a lawyer but I believe someone, even if they were drunk, wanting to hug you is not a good case for self defense. Just say no.

Yep, not the sharpest knife in the drawer, that's for sure.
