2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

Anybody hearing any behind the scenes rumblings about Jamabo and Texas?? I think something may be going on.
I don't. I simply hope that if it isn't us, he goes to ND. Even then, we'll have to play his team twice. The only way we don't see him in the next two years is if he commits Aggie. A.) I don't think he will. B.) I don't want them to get another solid recruit.

I saw that on another board - and the mods have been deleting it as fast as it gets posted.  Not quite sure what to make of it.

From Scout:

Jamabo is still considering a few different programs for his final three official visits, but does not have anything scheduled at this time.

"I definitely want to try and get out to Texas," Jamabo explained. "They are definitely on the map again."

"(Also) Ole Miss, Arizona State and possibly Oregon."

After his official visit to Notre Dame Jamabo reported that the Irish had grabbed the lead for his services, but with two visits now in the books, things have changed a bit.

more from Nickelson -- "I got to talk to (QB commit Zach Gentry) a little bit. He's really pumped up that I committed.  He said 'It's nice to finally have a lineman that I can look up to.'"

Here is the full quote from RB Soso Jamabo of Plano

"It was a great way to start off the playoffs.  We came out and did what we wanted to do. We played well as a starting core and I think we are going in confident to our next game."

"Brian Kelly (of Notre Dame) came out see me a couple of weeks ago, but coach Mora is my man (too), so I was real happy to see that.  Coach Mora, an NFL coach now the coach at UCLA it is awesome to have a guy like that come out and watch me play."

"I really got to see what the whole Westwood experience (on OV to UCLA) like you would expect, so it was a whole awesome day and an awesome experience for me."  "Although they took an 'L' it was still a great weekend. It showed a little bit more that they took and 'L' and still showed me a great time. They took and said we are going to come back string and still bounce back."

"I definitely want to try and get out to Texas.  They are definitely on the map again."

"It definitely evened out.  It was both great official visits and I had a great time on both, so it has definitely evened back out."

This is a clip from a high school game and an ou commit, but still worth a look
Hitting the WR turned into a TD
You see the Austin High QB try and get clipped? Not sure if he got the call but it's a smart play really since it would have been a 15 yard penalty from the spot.

Thanks Juan, always appreciate the updates. Didn't mean to guilt you back to your job at HS...wait, your not even getting paid for all of your work here? Shameful! Hope you have/had a great weekend.

Interesting to note, there was no Crystal Ball movement after this weekend. CB still favors Texas. Malik said he's working on setting up an OV with Texas.

His comments about Strong on his playoff game Thursday: (From BON)

"He just gave me motivation for today and he wanted me to focus on today," Jefferson said. "That's why I like Coach Strong - he's an in-the-moment guy. He cares about what's happening right now and not what might happen in the future."
