Big Top 5 showdown this week - Miss. State at Alabama. Me thinks Miss. State wins a close game.

Regardless, loser will slip out of the top 5 and it should allow TCU to move into # 4 rank, assuming they win this week.

Beating (the other, other) OSU is gonna make Thanksgiving alot more interesting than it seemed just a couple weeks ago

I remember at the beginning of the year certain fans of other teams made fun of UT for playing TCU on Thanksgiving day. Don't beleive anybody is pooping on TCU anymore.

If Miss. St. loses I wouldn't be shocked if they stay in the top 5. And if Bama loses I wouldn't be shocked if they barely slip out of the top 5.

Not saying that they should but I just think that's part of the SEC bias.

Baylor is not doing itself any favors, in terms of perception, with this OOC future schedule

This is why Baylor should have to go undefeated to make the playoffs. One loss and they should be out. And so should any other team that plays this kind of schedule.

This type of scheduling needs to be addressed in the worst way.

Your right Juan - I am thinking the same way.

If the Horns take Oklahoma Aggie on Sat., they come back and have about 11 days before the tilt with TCU @ DKR.  Time to get some rest, recharge, re-focus, spend more time getting ready for TCU.  If the Horns have truly turned the corner, a 3 game win streak, gaining momentum...  then perhaps the chances improve, with a loud crowd @ DKR - that the D can put the clamps on the high-flying Toad offense and the O can put up just enough points to pull what will be an upset.

We will see.

Incarnate Word (did not know they played football), Lamar, Northwestern State (La.), Liberty U. - seriously?

You know brother Horns - this future Baylor OCC is embarrassing for them and the Big XII.  Hell, I bet Iowa State and Kansas play tougher OCC's than Baylor.  I know Iowa State plays Big 10 team Iowa every year.
