I may be crazy but I think I'm going to give Coach Strong more than 1 recruiting class that he had 1 month to salvage, an off-season/preseason where he's not implementing a new offense/defense and where he doesn't have to get rid of players who don't want to be here or who can't handle the discipline that it takes to stay here, 8 games with an offensive line that's been decimated by injuries and the dismissal of the aforementioned players and 7 games with a QB who was deemed a project and not expecting to start but has outperformed everyone's expectations and is still growing. 

Coach Strong inherited a mess and has done a commendable job turning things around.  If you can't see improvement both on and off the field then you're just not looking hard enough.  The man's not a coordinator...he's a damn good head coach and we're lucky that he's on our sideline!  Can you imagine what this season would look like if we'd had MB for one more year?  North Texas might have been our only win....

Disagree. The "piece of the fanbase" you are talking about checked out around halftime of the BYU game and they wont come back until its trendy to be on the bandwagon again. Charlie isnt getting fired for at least three full seasons. This is a train wreck and the man deserves time to fix it. People like Red let Mack run this program into the toilet for years, and theyre going to have to put their racism aside and let Coach Strong do his job. 

This fanbase needs to toughen up.
