A taste of Texas - Volume 1 (photos)

[Matt Cotcher]

If you missed the other thread, I'll be putting together a photo journal for each road game.

UCLA weekend included the Poteet vs Berkner game on Friday night (Malik Jefferson & Deandre McNeal photos), some field level photographs in the final 4:00 of the UCLA game, plus some famous Texas eateries between Austin & Dallas. Enjoy the slideshow...

Dude, where's the pic of Chix Fried Steak?

[Lukus Alderman]

Not meaning to complain as the pics are great, but I think you forgot to load the pictures of the food.

[SFlonghorngirl]

Matt, gotta channel your inner Asian and take pics of food.

[Matt Cotcher]

Noted! I'll be like an Instagrammer and photograph my food next time!

[Aaron Carrara]

Good pics man. Next time we want a wide-Andre of that Kolache from Czech Stop!

Say what? You know I'm not a photographer....don't throw your fancy 'wide-Andre' terms at me!

This thread means NOTHING without at least ONE picture of a famous chicken fried steak (The Official Steak of Texas). Pretty disappointing.

OP is awarded no points.

Geez, this is the very reason why I gained 5 lbs in 6 months since returning to Texas. CFS and the baked potato can easily serve a family of 4.

[echeese]

WTF????

Not one picture of a kolache

A chicken fried steak

A plate of ribs

A Koffee Kup coconut merange pie. . .

The Billy the Kid museum. . . .

A TASTE of Texas..... with no food pics.

Matt, you have to redeem yourself in Volume 2....like mailing me some food from your travels.
