    How Good Is (two questions)

I trust Coach Strong to continue to make good choices in regard to his assistants. If he thinks Watson is the best guy for the OC job, given the talent he appears to be pulling together otherwise, then I'm not qualified to second guess him. Frankly, but for the splash hire aspect of things, and...

    Bruce Feldman

Since y'all are just guessing, why not be optimistic and not pessimistic (unless you want Watson - jk)? It's all going to play out soon enough. Waiting on gloom and doom isn't a good way to spend your energy. With that said, since no one on this thread has a clue (and neither do I, just a fan)...

    Is Strong Using Texas?

None of us know why there is a delay. Stop knee-jerking and latching onto every post of doom and gloom. Assuming Strong wants to wait to say yes to UT to tell his AD in person, that's a classy thing to do. And, assuming he want to bring some or a bunch of his current coaches with him, even more...

Am I the only one that doesn't want Briles?

I agree. Age a factor, although not a rule out factor. Gimmick offense that fails against good defenses. Didn't have his team ready to play in the biggest game for Baylor in 20+ years. Out coached in bigger games, including last night. Most penalized team shows lack of discipline. Fun to watch...

    Breaking News!!!! Only on Hornsports!!!

It is pretty hard to argue with Briles' success at a small school, long-term loser like Baylor. Get a great DC and off we go. Lots of other good choices of course, but Briles would be in that group. Don't just focus on "the one." There are lots of winning possibilities. But, of course, time will...

I know some will disagree with this

I think that Mack B's tenure at UT has run its course, and I appreciate that he has done some good (or great) things during the past 16 years. I wish him well, and hope that his departure doesn't lead to years of damage control on the PR front. But, for those that are being hard on Mack B...
