Crossfire - 5/15/14

I think we beat ou and k-state but why'd you leave our friends from Provo off the list ?

Sorry about forgetting about BYU but, I'm going to mark it up as a loss.

Subconsciously I might be setting myself up to enjoy this season no matter what our record is?

This Breakdow is especially interesting because I have always thought CB is the hardest position on the field to play and be very good at (maybe because I was a lineman). I liked the insight into the process the CB goes through to determine pass or run; watching the tackle's helmet! Gotta be tough not looking at the QB first!

Coleman's offerings are becoming "must reads". . .appreciate the concise detail. . .and real football content..  .

Good point. . . . .because we generally see such a huge run on 7th round picks having their jerseys sell out. . .

A very offensive comment by McPaul . ..I appreciate the PC police jumping on top of it. . . ..I for one applaud the NFL for making sure "new markets" were opened up.

That article doesn't state that 5 million gays are the ones buying his jersey.

He's gay - yes

He's sold 5 million jerseys - yes

There's no logic in saying that all of the jerseys he's sold is solely because of gays and gays only. If you're going to use that "logic" then you might as well say the only people buying Manziel jerseys are straight white people or only A&M fans. That's not how logic works. There could be people and allies of all types of backgrounds and cultures buying his jersey. But to say that it MUST be 5 million gays lacks logic and reasoning.
not to mention there can't possibly be 5 million gays who follow football.discuss.

Pancho My Man,

I apologize if I came off offensive.  That certainly was not my intention and if we were having this conversation in person, I'm certain it would not come off as such.

From my perspective the gay community is very supportive of one another so, I used that analogy.

We good?  If not give me a call and I'm certain we can smooth it out.

Darrell
No, offensive isn't the right word. Not sure why I put it earlier. If anything, it was just an immediate reaction.

We have no beef at all!
