texas really broke out the bats last night.  they had three hits thru about 6 or 7 innings but finally managed to scratch out 7 i think.  hit highlight of the night was a long foul ball by brooks marlow that cleared the left field wall by at least 60-70 feet and hit on the far side of Comal Street.  It would have been a no doubter except that it was a no doubter foul ball too.

there were several really nice fielding plays though plus some sort of brain dead move by Schiraldi on a chopper back to the mound that he tried to toss underhanded all the way from the mound to first that air mailed Clemens, causing him to jump high for it (unsuccessfully) and then come down on the runner leaving them both on the ground writhing in pain.  Uh, Lucas, next time let's just practice an overhand throw to first, what'ya say?

marlow's play to end the game was gorgeous, as was the nifty "ghetto spin" double play earlier in the game.
