NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP THREAD – Game time!

My thoughts . . .

Indiana and Miami both played great games.

Indiana is a senior-laden team. It will be interesting to see what kind of team they are next year.

Miami is very good. They also had quite a few seniors. They'll have to replace a QB as will Indiana.

I have to wonder if Miami wins this game if Beck wasn't so shaky early.

Indiana was a team Miami could not physically dominate. And that was a difference in the game.

We all saw Cignetti smile. Ha!
They couldn't physically dominate Indiana in spite of outweighing them something like 50 pounds a player (Miami's OL, Indiana's DL) on average.

I think Cignetti got a good QB from TCU in the portal. I saw him play this year and was impressed.

Cignetti is the man. I think we're witnessing coaching greatness!

Indiana definitely deserved it. This was a program that went through growing pains of wanting so bad to have a winning season to this special moment..being National Champions..I love it.. And here's another thing ladies and gentlemen:: 0 FIVE STAR recruits.. and a quarterback..hold up HEISMAN WINNING QB that Miami didn't want from the transfer portal showed up and showed out.

Big Ten with 3 championships in a row.

Which conference and team stops that streak and when?

I'll give you a hint.... "Light the tower orange!!"

Seriously - Texas or Georgia are the only two that come to mind. I was high on Bama going into last year but good grief! I'll put Notre Dame in as honorable mention. I like their coach and they're collecting some talent.
