*****OFFICIAL CITRUS BOWL GAME THREAD: No. 13 Texas vs No. 18 Michigan*****

That’s a fumble!
Yes it was!

On the sack fumble they ruled, why did they not have the ball marked where Texas recovered and ran it to? Instead, they had the ball marked ready for Michigan's offense before the ruling came back that overturned it.

The ACC officials did what they could to keep Michigan in this game. Guess they're still pissed about the nontargeting call against Clemson.

In addition, there was obvious offensive holding. It still didn't stop him from sacking the QB.

What a game.

1. Ach Manning exceeded my expectations tonight. His instincts have become refined. The grit is there. The arm is certainly there. He has a chance for a very special year in 2026.

2. Texas secondary made the day. Three INTs late in the game really put Michigan under the gun. I expected a drop off wiithout Taffe, but they held strong despite some early concerns.

3. Michigan DL and OL dominated the LOS in the 1st half. Texas took it back in the 2nd. January has come a long way. Umeozula with that sack/fumble should make you feel good about next year. Collin Simmons had a great game. He literally forced Michigan to game plan around him. Trevor Goosby, my God I hope you come back. Robertson had a very good game. Baker, too.

4. The young WRs had a nice game, made some key catches down the stretch.

5. Was not pleased with the LB play for the most part, but Ty Anthony Smith came up big later in the game.

6. Warren Roberson CAN HIT.

7. I thought Sark called a pretty good game overall. The 4th and 1 call was awesome sauce.

8. Through three quarters I wasn't sure our defense could actually stop Michigan. Their running game was eating us alive. But they rose to the occasion late.

9. The turnovers were key for us. They always are. But they were significant today.

10. We need to work on KO cover all off season.

With all the opt outs, we had a lot of youngsters out there and overall, I believe they did a very good job.

Glad we started kicking away from that one Michigan returner because I was having flashbacks of the Rose Bowl against them.

Our D has to get better on 4th down, gave up too many easy yards but again, we did have a lot of youth out there.

Manning and Clark were awesome, so I'm going to give the OL some credit. That unit should be strong next year.

ACC is the little brother to the SEC, just like the aggies are to the Horns.

Looked like Nannson decided to make Underwood beat us through the air, and that is a recipe for disaster for Michigan. He is electric running the ball, but not a skilled, consistent passer at this time.

I said to myself before the game that I bet Underwood throws a couple INTs.

I agree on all points you said there..KO coverage has been a thorn on Texas side all season. They can't afford to make mistakes blowing coverages everywhere
