BOWL GAME: Texas vs Michigan

Good to hear from OL Coach Flood that the OL is still in tack. That's a big deal because several could have skipped the game.

I am to the point that we should have not even decided to go to a bowl (except for practice time). Hell, the players don't even take the bowls seriously so why should the fans? The bowls are just irrelevant now and I don't want to end the season on a loss . This team and others will just be a shell of themselves. Why bother anymore to go?
Tell the Houston Cougars that.

I'm sorry Dillo, but don't watch then. Don't take away from the kids (young men for the younger folks)
who do enjoy playing or those who want to watch their team play one last time before the college football wilderness starts. Especially now that Sark's become an ass about the spring game.

Tell me that the quality of the bowl games and its talent has not been drastically reduced. I'll watch the playoff games. I'll also watch a few (very few) bowl games too....while I long for the days of old.

Agree that the bowls are a lot less entertaining but that started in the early 2,000s when the number of bowl games exploded which has led to teams below .500 getting invites. When it’s that watered down, it’s not surprising so many kids opt out.imo

Texas came out flat after both of their Bye Weeks this year. Will we be flat tomorrow?

- I'm hearing there's been some cases of the flu on the team. Have no idea how extensive it is, but I've heard at least one starter is battling it pretty hard, but will still try to play today. (CHIP BROWN)

With all of those that left and now the flu chances of a win are in doubt. I don't want to have to live with a loss till next fall.
