The fact that there have been that many 17 point leads in the playoffs show there really is not a need for more teams and it is going to get worse as the day goes on.

With the CFP & BCS (27 some-odd years), there have only been two, possibly three, legit national championship resumes at the end of the regular season every year worthy of a national championship game.
