NFL Draft

The 5 stars are drafted at a much higher rate than any other ranking classification. There are only 32 of them a year. There are 250+ 4 stars leading to the higher overall number of 4 stars drafted in the 1st round.
Would you please elaborate about the off the field issues of Bond for those who haven't heard anything? I for one am surprised he wasn't drafted.

He says he is innocent. You would think that teams interested in him have done some due diligence to understand the situation. Him not being drafted, or having a free agent contact signed yet may be telling.

Hopefully he is able to get his life and promising football career back on track.

It was the interview article

Off the field issues tanked Isaiah Bond. Undrafted and not signed as a free agent yet.

Jake Majors as UDFA to Tampa Bay.

Silas Bolden to Minnesota. He got paid 205k to sign while the last pick in round 7 gets a 80k signing bonus. Good for him.

Gbenda to Tennessee.
Gavin Holmes to Detroit
Bill Norton to LA Chargers
Lots failed to see how good Norton was to our defense. That tank clogged holes like nobody’s business. I hope he has a good run in the nfl

Me too, but OL was a major need.
Blue was a good get.
Yeah it was good get for them to nab Blue..but what surprised me as I was looking at the prospects that was left I'm surprised Kelly the WR from Tech was still available and Skattebo

That guy was the same size and thickness from his head to his feet. When he was knocked down, he was like a giant rolly-polly trying to get up. lol

He did take up space though.

Go back and watch goal line defense. They rarely got a push on him

I think the DL is a need and there were still some good ones out there. This past year there were a number of injuries and they pretty much sucked because of it.

This pick doesn't sound like Jerry. I think this was the coaches pick. No splash, just a need.
I would agree on the DL, except that Dallas has used as many 1st or whatever their top pick (2nd rd) on DL that turned into bust. They have had limited success with OL than DL besides Maryland back in the 90's.

Bitch all you want. I don't care. It's Jerry and then Stephen's team. As for the draft, outside of the 1st rd, Will McClay is mostly in charge of the Cowboys draft picks. The 1st round is like 60% Jerry and 40% Stephen and Will. Thus the Martin pick over Jerry wanting Johnny football.

Jerry has been on record of not ever wanting to draft a Texas player in the 1st rd. But that might have changed if Banks had fallen to 13.

Jerry is still the owner and GM. Ultimately he is responsible. From jocks to socks, as he claimed, along with poor cap space, player selection, coaches, his radio show, art work inside of his stadium to their their performance on the field, Jerry is responsible. I'm not bitching. I'm simply pointing out appropriate accountability: Jerry Jones.
