Game Week – Georgia at Texas

Our gameplan is not working with them getting pressure with 4 and sometimes 3. The slow developing stuff needs to be abandoned. Quick hitting til they a soften the coverage if possible. The OL is getting embarrassed and it’s killing everything

That was a good goal line stand, even if they converted the 4th and 1.

At the game. Can anyone explain how THE pass interference got reversed? Wouldn't think it was reviewsble?

The crowd went wild on the play and review.

IDK, all of the sudden they were talking back and forth and then ruled the way they did.

Texas biggest problem the last 2 games is a crappy start. Manning is better than Ewers right now. It’s not all on Ewers but he’s like a grandma in the pocket

Defense played well enough to win. Only 1 scoring drive went over 35 yards for Georgia. Anytime your D has 3 TOs you should win. Unfortunately O-Line and QE played like ass. Along with Georgia D line being hungry.

More season to come, isn’t dooms day. O-Line better bury this night

Georgia came in like their season was on the line which might be the case if they had two losses. Good lesson that you have to come to play hard every game. Second half was better, but the damage was done.

I agree. This ride isn’t over.

We can’t be down 23-0 at halftime and expect to win.

On the broadcast, Herbie and Co. said the refs started talking almost right away but were delayed by the water bottle throwing. Once they got back together, someone with a better view spoke up. They should have not announced until they had a chance to converse. Made it look like the fan incident forced the change.

No whining. I see all this end of the world crap on here. Georgia’s Dline kicked our oline’s butt. Our defense played well. Regroup, keep getting better and maybe we will get another chance at them. Before the season, I think everyone would take 6-1 at this point. Get better and things will be fine. The team fought back after an awful first half. If they are the group I think they are, they will be pissed off and get back to work.

Probably the most sensible post I've seen so far

I'm not a big fan of QB controversy, but I think Arch gives this team a better opportunity to win. Quinn is good, but he still can't stretch the field with accurate deep throws and his pocket awareness has not improved in 3 years. Arch is still young and will make mistakes, but his awareness and deep ball is beyond Quinn. If he can learn the underneath game like Quinn, then he will be complete. Plus, he can run. If Texas wants to beat UGA down the road, Arch for a whole game is the way to go, IMO. I mean, what is point in running a zone read with Quinn when the defense knows he won't keep it. UGA collapsed Everytime.

When Texas plays lessor teams (overall talent wise) he is great. When they play a team that matches or exceeds them in overall talent then he is not an X factor. I've seen enough from Arch to know he has it.
