I find it extremely odd that the Coleman brothers are not rated at all by any service by this time. Any reason why?
I think the sites are just behind, and that happens sometimes.

They'll both get rated when the various sites make their rankings updates, especially if they're committed to Texas.

All measurements look good. Hope he's more like Quan Cosby or Colt or even Billy Sims another 2a even though didn't play for Texas instead Edwin Hawkins or Brenan Thompsonson. Anyone remember a 2a lineman that started at Texas?

That was Edwin Simmons from Hawkins. That was from 1982, btw.

Two reminders...

- tomorrow is the beginning of the spring evaluation period that runs until last week of May. Assistant coaches will be traveling all over the country to watch prospects practice in person, check on their grades, etc. My guess is Texas coaches won't hit the road until the first week of May once they wrap up spring practice and have individual meetings with players.

- the spring transfer portal opens tomorrow and will run through April 30th.

Per OTF, recent DT offer Derry Norris of Port Orange, FL will be in Austin this weekend with his father.

He has been in constant communication with Coach Baker since receiving a Texas offer, and Hamilton believes Texas will try to get a summer official visit scheduled with him while he's on campus.

Not saying Texas will make a move, but LSU took their second RB of the class today.

RB James Simon of Shreveport, LA is visiting soon, and he's wanted LSU or Texas.

IT thinks we should pay closer attention here with RB Jordon Davison liking Ohio State and their depth chart being favorable.

Simon has a Texas official scheduled for June in addition to visiting this weekend.

QB Keelon Russell on his visit to Texas this weekend (247):

"Looking forward to getting an offer from them," Russell recently told Horns247. "It would probably change a lot. But I'd say that them offering me would set my standards high."

IT saying DT Zion Williams of Lufkin didn't make LSU's spring game over the weekend.

OTF saying Russell will have his father, uncle and sister with him this weekend.

Texas needs to offer this guy. Just in case.
I am truly torn on who is the better talent. KJ is a pure pocket passer and has the arm talent. Russell seems to have the arm talent and the ball seems to come off his hand more crisply. Plus he can scramble to gain yards.
Mack loved himself some pocket passers and along came number 10. The rest is history. Maybe Sark will see that a QB who has arm talent along with running ability is greater than a pure pocket passer.
