For those unaware, a Level 1 violation can be punished with a show-cause penalty which essentially keeps that coach out of the NCAA for a set period of time.

This only adds fuel to the fire that the committee shouldn't have allowed Michigan to compete.

Wasn't his early season suspension based on that finding? Either they found something new, or this seems odd to me.

The early season penalty was self-imposed by Michigan in hopes the NCAA accepts the penalty.
