******GAME THREAD: No. 8 Texas Longhorns vs. Houston Cougars******

last night in his after game press conference , he said he had confidence in Maalik and Arch, made no mention of moving Charles Wright up to save Arch red shirt
Where can I find the postgame press conference?

Post game is likly on IT. Maalik is best choice had some game experence. Arch can play 4 games and still keep his red shirt. Sark will make the call, proabily before KO.

agree... but I would want to keep that in my pocket with 6 games left (assuming CCG). apparently QE will be back in a few weeks so I would play Murphy if or until he shows he cant handle it. Supposedly, Arch takes care of the football better, runs through 2-3 progressions, and throws a more catchable pass in practice. If Murphy cant manufacture a good passing game before QE comes back, then, by all means, try Arch

Interesting Sark talked about "killer instinct." Firstly, killer instinct is not artificially manufactured; it comes from within and part of what you are. If Sark is trying to create a professional culture as he has said before, then it's hard to just turn a switch to have a killer instinct team.

Secondly, nothing kills the killer instinct more than destroying your own momentum and giving it to the other team. Houston got some excitment by scoring a TD making the score 21-7. the next series Sark does a fake punt; not with one of the myriad of athletes they have (including 4 blue chip RBs) but with a punter to gain 6 yds - STUPID move. Auburn is a 75% FG kicker (pretty good) and the odds are they would have tampered the coug's excitement instead of adding to it.
