Rangers & 'Stros - can the home team win a damn game????

First of all I am beyond pissed off that the Rangers jumped out to a 2-0 lead over Houston and then $hit the bed the last two games. My expectations have fallen from low to nonexistent for my Rangers but what's nuts is over the last 8 games between these two teams the home team has not won one single game.

I am sick and tired of the Astros and wish them a solid buttwhipping tonight but I doubt it is coming. Been burned by this team for half a century and expect more of the same in this series.

Haven't seen any baseball talk on the site, why?

Lifelong Ranger fan here. Hate to admit it, but the way both teams are playing right now, the Astros have the better team.
Our bullpen is atrocious.
Next year should be better with Langford coming, and hopefully some healthy starting pitching.
Young can fix the bullpen, that is one of easiest things for a GM to do.
I’ll be pulling for Monty, but I think our streak is over.

The Rangers are having a better season than expected. I think the Astros are better and obviously have the advantage in big game experience. Rangers are well on the way and it will be a nice rivalry for a few years, but not their time just yet.

Surely the Astros can win one of two at their home. I think Game 5 broke the Rangers. Gut wrenching loss.

You may not have followed the WS with the Astros and Nationals when the Astros won all three on the road but could not win any of the 4 at home. Talk about sad. Hopefully this won't repeat, but Rangers know there is precedent

Really, it was only 4-5 pitches that cost him. He was good otherwise.

The homer in the 9th was incredible. Just a beautiful shot, you knew it was gone when it left his bat.

Garcia's home run looked like he sliced it off his bat at first. It carried and carried though. What a game.

GREAT game last night against AZ. I have to admit, I was losing faith. The walk off homerun initially looked to me like it was going to be out of bounds on the right side but it was almost center right field.
