Texas should get into the top 10 with this win, I'm thinking 6 or 7. And we better be ranked higher than Bama.

Bama was the only team ranked ahead of us to lose. They likely drop to around the low teens and behind us.
We may, and should, get bumped ahead of a few folks who were ranked ahead of us and won this week. Most of the top 10 beat cupcakes handedly.
I am thinking more like 8th though we have the most impressive win on the season so far.

It doesn't matter. After beating Bama, expectations are at an all-time high regardless of ranking. This is something Sark and Co. are going to have to manage.
This ^^^^^^^....now we will be be heavily favored in every game except the RRS
BTW : Where are all the Sark haters that wanted to run him out of town last year ?

With Tulane dropping out, there are no ranked teams from conferences outside the Power Five. The last time that happened was a little less than a year ago, though three Group of Five conference teams ended up finishing the season ranked.
Pac-12 — 8 (Nos. 5, 8, 12, 13, 16, 18, 23, 24).
SEC — 5 (Nos. 1, 10, 11, 14, 17).
ACC — 4 (Nos. 3, 20, 21, 22).
Big Ten — 4 (Nos. 2, 6, 7, 25).
Big 12 — 3 (Nos. 4, 15, 19).
Independent — 1 (No. 9).

Im not even trying to be negative here...but let's see if he can play in a B12 CCG first. Getting up for one big game and then laying a dud in conference play has been a trend lately. Let's make it a great season result instead of just a one big game result. This win means jack squat to me if we're sitting at home on Dec 2nd.
Dont get it twisted, im stoked as heck about this dub in Tuscaloosa, but I'm tired of one game defining our season.

I've already heard Klatt and Finebaum. Both gave them a ton of credit. Finebaum was the 1st person I heard say that #4 was as low as they should be ranked.
I'm looking forward to hearing recruit reactions. Huge visit weekend coming up. Put on a show and lock them down.
It's far too early in the season for this to mean much but I feel like we probably have the best resume in the country. The FSU win over LSU (In Florida) and the Duke win at Clemson are the only other teams to beat a top 10 opponent.
Rankings this early in the year are still very predictive in nature.
