Finally made it out of sooner country and accepted a job in the New Braunfels area. Is there any good HS football around that area? A quick search showed few past Texas studs I liked came from Cibolo (Caden Sterns) and Shertz (Malcolm Brown) but want to get the HS football experience so curious. Excited to say the least. Thanks In advance

I can speak to that. I once lived in NB.

New Braunfels Unicorns can be a fun team to watch. They and cross-town Canyon don't care much for each other. Smithson Valley usually fields a good team and they're a 20 minute drive for you.

Judson is not far down the road from you. Of course Cibolo and Schertz normally have good teams.

While I was there, nearby San Marcos and Seguin were not real good programs. lol, we used to call Seguin "Saigon"

Thanks SHA. Exactly what I needed. Will check some of these out this year.

My suggestion is buy a DCTF mag. will give a good acount of schools abd players in the area. Also lots of other football related articles.

Get a map and can find distance of the games you want to see.

Congrats on new job and getting back to Texas.
