2024 Recruiting Board/Thread

Just a heads up on the recruiting calendar.

Today is the last day of the spring evaluation period, so assistants will be returning to their campuses to handle summer camps and official visitors.

The last day for spring/summer official visits is June 25th, and then a dead period starts immediately through July 24th.

Recruits can visit campuses again for one week until July 31st, and then the entire month of August is a dead period with no visits allowed.

Bonus note: June 15th is when 2025 prospects can start receiving direct communication from coaches.

IT 3 gurus picked # of recruits who will commit in June. 1 1/2  2, and 3 to 5 were the picks.

Best was remark that Shannon was looking like the TE Texas needs. AndRoss was running second at Buck.

I keep up with IT fairly well and I can't find where anyone put a number on commits. They did say more than 46 official visits will occur this month. 1-1/2 to 2 commits is a piss poor ratio and I don't think it will be that low. On the other hand I'm sure TFB's guess is far too optimistic. Four to six seems to be a good composite.

No just passing it on. IMO I would trust infro. on this board first over the click bait. Main thing was TE and Buck.
I trust their info in some part, but they never seem to give definitive answers in their posts. They talk a good story but you can never nail them down on an opinion. It's the business they're in.

On R. Wingo it strikes me as funny or odd that On3 describes him as a 5*. They rate him as a middle 4* and 92 player nationaly. 24/7 rates him much higher.
