2024 Recruiting Board/Thread

IT had 5 recruits that they thought chances were high for Texas Hudson Cruz, Black, DB Gibson and J. Willisms LB. Williams will be a fight to get from the ducks.
Do you know which thread it is where they say Texas has a good shot with Williams?

I know they'll recruit him until the end, but I haven't seen where their chances are great.

Per IT, Texas is switching up their strategy for DL Joseph Jonah-Ajonye from Conroe Oak Ridge.

He does not want to be pegged as an inside player, so he's now being recruited by coaches PK and Choate.

Also, he was texting with the staff on the night of the spring game saying he should've been in Austin to see Joseph Ossai.

Ossai is his favorite player since they share the same high school and Nigerian roots, and the staff is expected to get Ossai and his family involved to help with the recruiting effort.

Discussed it on their youtube/podcast channel.

They also mentioned specifically feeling good about Gibson and Black which matches the new predictions by fellow On3 staff Spiegelman.

Not sure he's 100% a take for either school.

I was curious about this too, couldn't remember if I was getting my recruits mixed up. What a mess.

IT said he is originally from Chicago, so he's not a kid that grew up loving a Texas school. They said Texas was climbing into the race and are doing a good job. He has a trip to Oregon scheduled and if he doesn't commit then, they like our chances. More hopeful than confident.

On3 has Williams at 97% Oregon 1% A$M.

Good news Hudson 90% Texas 9% TT Bridges 90% Texas 4% Ark.

Black 80% Texas 6% Okie St.  RB Gibson 94% Texas  2% Fla. Baker 65% Texas  21% Okie St.

What exactly is his issue? Does he just want attention or is there more to it?
To recap his history:

December 21 committed to Baylor, January 22 decommitted

February 22 committed to Texas, November 22 decommitted

Now releasing a top 2 with 2 schools that may not even accept his committment

HS change in there too, not sure if that is a straightforward thing or something more.

He is no longer in Carthage. He's moved back to Daingerfield. FYI.

Not sure why but I had heard the UIL wasn't going to let him transfer without losing the season.

He's a hot mess though.

247 was able to get some quotes from Miller.

"It's an honor," Miller said. "It's a historic program and it has a long list of players they've sent to the NFL. Getting the opportunity to play for a special teams coordinator who was a specialist himself is amazing."

"It's a relatively new relationship," Miller said. "My initial contact with him was just over two weeks ago. I've enjoyed the phone calls we've had. It helps a ton because he knows what to look for and what needs improvement since he played himself."

"It's in the works right now but we don't have anything confirmed yet," he said. "Coach Banks provided possible dates for an official visit in June."
