2023 Recruiting Board/Thread

I don’t think Ja Kobi Lane has signed.  He’s a potential flip but not sure he’s needed.

it seems like Duce Robinson (signing in Feb), Lane and potentially Jelani McDonald are potentials.   I think we walked away from McDonald though.
We will find out about McDonald on Jan 7.

Some people just want to stay on a sinking ship.
Rather it was atm than OU.  At least at atm he will not be a force down the road due to development and that program being a dumpster.  OU might've done something with him and Texas would have to deal with him for at least 3 years.  Going atm and Texas will likely only see him once.

I wouldn't label him as a "longshot" even if Texas doesn't win out.

IT mentioned there's a lot of confidence on the Texas side, and they will give it everything they have until February whether it's Sark, Coach Banks or the Mannings recruiting him.
I stated before and I'll say it again, I would be cool with another freak athlete named Robinson from the state of Arizona.  Wasn't ready for the last one to leave.  I would be cool with Texas being known as RBU and starting a TEU thing going (Sanders and then Robinson)

I think Texas makes a lot of sense for him for several reasons, especially if he wants to stick with baseball.

Amazing to me that the Ags and zero u can pull the classes that they did, after the seasons they had.
I know there is NIL money and all that, but what about schools like SMU ? You know their boosters got money. Why aren’t they pulling some of these guys ?

So much shady stuff going on, but I guess there has always been shady stuff with college ball. I do love the game, but don’t trust a lot of the stuff connected to it.

I completely agree with this.  Too many factors at play that make sense:

1. UT Baseball team

2. Young, talented QB coming in with him (Arch)

3. UT incorporating the TE more and more in the passing game this past year (should only increase for next year)

4. Did I already say the baseball team

5. Sark's ability to scheme guys open and create mismatches (very underrated point, imo)
