Congratulations to K-State. It was a hard-fought game. They definitely earned it with that goal-line stand.

I honestly hoped TCU would win and get to the CFP. Just tired of seeing the same teams in it every year.
Poor ball spot on the goal line stand. The lSt two play calls were worse.

With you on same teams. And really feel bad for Duggan he left it all on the field.

K State beating TCU is what scares people from expanding the CFP, if that were the case does K State deserve a shot at the CFP (of course not)...at what point does a team not deserve a shot at the Nat Championship ( # 7-12)

Nope!  I texted that exact thing to my son.
I asked my nephew (an avid Sooner) how Dugan wasn’t involved in the play.
He replied:
“Let me paint you a picture”,

It is a calm weathered night. Your team is coming off of an amazing season with one of the best quarterbacks if not the best in Oklahoma football history, Baker Mayfield. You are in the college football playoff up against a powerhouse in Georgia with a two headed monster in the backfield. you play an amazing game offensively and it comes down to overtime. When overtime starts instead of running your amazing offense with your Heisman Trophy winning quarterback, you run two plays of wildcat and put your quarterback in a third and 20 situation. Your kicker has to make the field goal you’re only up by three with a terrible Mike stoops defense. Georgia runs the ball scores. Your season is over. What do these situations have to do with each other? The offensive coordinator of both teams last name is Riley.”

Cinderella seasons ?

TCU deserves it, but this wouldn't shock me at all.

1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. Ohio State
4. Alabama
Let me preface this with I was delighted when Alabama got their second loss. With that been said, does Vegas, or better yet, the Committee think TCU can beat any of those four teams? Perhaps the question comes down who would win between Alabama vs TCU (who is better team). There are all kinds of arguments for TCU and Alabama. It will be interesting to see how the final four shake out.

TCU should slot ahead of Ohio State. Ohio State and Bama fighting for #4 IMO.

This is where I'm at when trying to predict what will happen.

I see it coming down to Alabama or TCU for that #4 spot, and Alabama has Saban, Bryce Young and only missed the playoff once.

I wouldn't put money on TCU making it even though they should, but a two-loss team never having made it is one advantage they hold over Alabama.
