So the Big Cigars hired Sark?Let the AD handle the coaching hiring, not the Big Cigars.
Totally agree, I see Sark here for at least 2 more seasons after this one.We can criticize Sark all we want. Ewers too.
But CDC is a PROFESSIONAL. And I’ll bet you that Sark ain’t going nowhere anytime soon.
And I’ll also bet Sark sticks with Ewers.
This is a message board, and we are prone to overreacting. It is what it is, but the guys in charge don’t overreact like we do.
They are professionals and know what they are doing.
"Better coached by one who been there one year?"When Texas plays and beats USC (again) I will agree with you.
TCU ia a talentied team better QB deeper WR corp (not my words) more srs. and jrs.. Better coached by one who been there one year?
who did you pick to win?
"Better coached by one who been there one year?"
Who is also in his 12th as a head coach. And who after 8 years as a head coach had a record of 46-52 for a win percentage of .469. He basically turned around his coaching career in his 9th year and has gone 35-10 over the next 4 seasons. But even with that run, his career winning percentage is still only .563.
This is Sark's 8th full season as head coach and his current record stands at 57-46 for a winning percentage of .553. In case, nobody caught this, Sark will begin his 9th season next year. Which, again, is when Sonny Dykes started the run he is on. Maybe Sark does the same thing, maybe not. Who knows for sure?
I'll leave that up to you since what you are saying involves a bit of subjectivity ?Only thing ou missed is what schools they coachedat. Football schools or also rane.
Bottom line isSonny ( an several other coaches) in equal time or less are doing a betterjob than Sark.?
Cats act like Dykes didn't inherit an experienced GP team that has ALWAYS played Texas tough. Let's see what Dykes looks like in the couple years...if y'all really care"Better coached by one who been there one year?"

He definitely did inherit a more upperclassman laden team. With junior and senior starters who will be drafted next year. A senior QB as well, maybe not as high rated stars. But definitely a team set up for a run. Look at offensive line Sark inherited, that’s a few examples of the differencesDoubt if Dykes inheirted a more talentedteam than Sark.
What B12 team would you trade players with? How about coach? He definitely did inherit a more upperclassman laden team. With junior and senior starters who will be drafted next year. If TCU had all that talent why was they picked sixth in B12. Texas third. He definitely did inherit a more upperclassman laden team. With junior and senior starters who will be drafted next year. Because the media can be quite stupid. If TCU had all that talent why was they picked sixth in B12. Texas third.
