SignUp Now!I think you are underestimating the costs and consequences of bringing in transfers on top of what we will already have on campus if we sign a big top 3 recruiting (on top of what we have already). It’s not fantasy football where you just add people to roster and stock them on your bench free of consequenceWe don't need a big transfer portal class but we need to hit a few spots hard. CB, LB, DL/Edge. I also want Evan Stewart in burnt orange next year.
Even if we sign the #1 recruiting class we don't have the depth of talent on our roster we need. We are getting closer but not there yet.
Elko is gone.True, but Fong is pretty dead on with TAMU recruiting. It’s been said he’s got buddies on that staff. Time will tell
IT believes he's visiting this weekend, especially considering Texas just offered his younger brother.Apparently Wiltfong of 247 said S Peyton Bowen of Denton Guyer will be in town this weekend.
I haven't seen it yet.

They're trying to confirm.
They did away with the limits on recruiting class size. The only limit is they can't have more then 85 scholarship players. Like last year some number of players won't have their scholarships renewed and will enter the portal. The more they take the more that need to leave, so the coaches need to be careful and strategic. With 34 spots used last year was thereany spaces to carry over to this year?
Math no, but numbers count in recruiting.
Proably read thistone time but memory is not what ituse to be.They did away with the limits on recruiting class size. The only limit is they can't have more then 85 scholarship players. I can give you some off the top of my head that will probably/potentially portal or go pro: RB Bijan Robinson; WR Jordan Whittington; WR Jaden Alexis; QB Hudson Card; QB Charles Wright; OL Max Merril and TE Brayden Liebrock. I could also see OL Sawyer Goram-Welch (actually don't know what he plays now); and OL Logan Parr. So that is 9 potential spots right there to go along with the 17 openings and that = 26 as is. So 6 potential new HS kids.Proably read thistone time but memory is not what ituse to be.
84 on roster = 1 space plus 16 seniors 17 openings. 21 commits so already 4 over
Going pro, medicals might get 2-3 more Look out srs. and jrs. need more spaces.
