When Texas and OU join the SEC

Thanks, doc, and how is your lovely bride?

btw, will the SEC require the service stations in Arkansas to sell us gas.  (The young ones probably don’t know about that.)

Just in case guys, if you are driving, gas up at the last station before you get to Arkansas-you just never know!

How long before we have rivals?

All together now:

The day it was announced.

She was yelling at me because I walked in the pasture where that damn Longhorn steer lives, with a hatchet in my hand.  The whole family is afraid I was either going to turn him into steaks or give him away.  I've threatened this before because he is the dumbest animal I've ever been around.

Now, doc, she is just worried about your health should some misfortune befall your steer.

Young docco was born not to be steaks or a rocket scientist, but a big, cuddly pet, with horns!  One that will not shy from attacking annoying little Bulldogs.

So, doc, chill and enjoy!

Hook em!  Talk to him nice.

With BIG12 expansion happening in 2023, and the BIG12 entering early media rights negotiations for strategic reasons vs the PAC.  Plus with the B1G deal signed,  and the SEC likely wanting to flex its improved financial outlook after expansion , TX and 0u joining the SEC in 2023 makes way too much sense for it to not happen.

Last year the rumor was the announcement would happen during TX 0u week for a 2022 move. My guess is that is the time of year it needs to be announced in order to work out all of the scheduling and logistical issues for the move.

So based on no inside information my prediction is that during TX 0u week they will announce that TX and 0u will be joining SEC for the 2023 football season.

It doesn’t have to be announced to be official, does it?

Well, you kinda need to tell the SEC and Big 12 what you're doing. lol

Don't forget the locking gas cap....

Thats not necessarily an Arkansas thing. Since gas prices went up so high, we've had our gas tanks stolen twice. We have 6 of them (5 gal size) and two of them are gas-oil mix (for weed eaters, blowers). So some poor soul is out there wondering why his engine is sucking so bad. lol

Still, those 5 gal tanks cost $50 each.
