2023 Recruiting Board/Thread

From Nahlin of IT today:

"We’ll see if UGA has the nuts on this (Manning's recruitment). I don’t think they do and would call whatever their raise is."

Suchomel at OrangeBloods spoke with a few people and said the visit for both Manning and Randle is going about as well as expected.

There's some talk that Manning could have a decision within a week or so, and an important date to remember is the Manning Passing Academy happening next weekend.

My friend down there says they're expecting a commit, silent or public, before the weekend is over. re: Manning.

He said they aren't phased by the visit to Georgia. Confidence abounds on the recruiting staff.

Silent isn't even worth mentioning, IMO.
I would think the whole point of Arch making his decision now would be to help recruit a supporting cast of players. If it's not public, then why not just wait until he has more data on how the team plays this fall?

Yeah, I can't imagine Arch would not go public plenty early in order to have a positive impact on other recruits.

I've heard from various people that he's been a silent for the past few months. Again, tough to get excited.

From another board . . . . I guess the Ewers bit got cut off.

"One of my sons sent me this from reddit. Supposedly someone who has a good track record. Several tidbits, including the worst kept secret in college football... Ewers is the starter.

You've told a few people on IT to "go read the Georgia boards" based on your Arch opinion, so you have me confused.

Doesn't matter, though.

I've read Texas boards, I've read Georgia boards, I've read Bama boards.  But again my opinion is based on my opinion.  Do you ever read something but have a different opinion? It really is that simple.

Georgia folks think Arch is going to Georgia

Texas folks think Arch is going to Texas.

I tend to lean Georgia just because they are the more stable program.  Arch does seem to love Sark so here we are.
