IT reporting QB Devin Brown of Draper, UT "loved" his visit to Austin last weekend, and a West Coast source is saying Texas has a legit shot to land him over Ole Miss and Ohio State.

He will head to Columbus this weekend, but they will need to be able to convince him to join a stacked QB room.

Regarding poor on field performances and recruiting: Do recruits care all that much about the current product on the field? In their minds they are the future product on the field and you gotta believe they feel good about themselves. I certainly don't think it helps, aside from easy to sell early PT, but I don't think it hurts if you can convince players they are the change that is needed. 

This sentiment seems to be shared around by current Texas commits, especially vocal guys like Derrick Brown.

I've heard he likes OSU, aggy and Texas. But there's the fact that he's visited Texas three times in recent past makes me have doubts about writing him off. You don't do that because you have time to waste.

There's no way of knowing, but you have to assume given the current situation that Tchio, Lyles, Gilyard, and Bradley have already been contacted.

Banks would be a nice pick up, but we have some depth there already. We were on Banks pretty hard when he was a recruit.

I think he’s glaring at Texas as an option so that way he doesn’t have “buyers remorse” when he goes elsewhere

I count 9 DBS returning if Dunn comes back. 3 commitments if they stick.

1 4 star wants to sign if coaches want him. There fore Banks looks  like a high priorty to me

Need all the DBS and OL the 10 or 11 spots will let us take.

Looks like more Banks smoke from Suchomel, who mentioned other recruits saying something is in the works.
