All I can say is the coaches can sell early playing time at Texas.

I was told there’s Instagram or Tiktok videos of the recruits at the game laughing when Kansas scored the 2 point conversion.  I have an account with neither so I can’t say if true or not.  Don’t even know if those are the actual sites mentioned.  If true,  it’s very sad that Texas soils the sheets when they need to prevail the most….

Question (not taking a jab at you drb), aren't those the same type of recruits/players that helped get Texas into this mess?  Not saying it's all players, but don't we want to move away from those type of players?  I know Bo does.

Those are the exact type of players we need.  You need the best you can truly get, but they need to be bought in.  It’s more than just taking players that want to be here.  You have to have really good players that want to be here.  We have a linebacker that wants to be here.  Unfortunately he’s a slow walk-on that sucks.  We have a safety that wants to be here as well.  The first time all season he’s been in position to make a play and he drops the game winning interception.  
 

we have to give the big time recruits a reason to want to be here first and foremost.  We are giving them something to laugh at instead.  I don’t think any recruits can see forward progress in the program right now.  That’s why kids are laughing and walking away.  You have to show them you can beat the teams you’re supposed to.  Texas can’t do that

Well, Suchomel over on OB, did paint a surprisingly "rosy" picture concerning OL recruiting regarding the 3 main OL targets, Campbell, Dewberry, and Banks. Which I don't buy for one minute.
