Card had two games to show his arm. Sark, who is supposed to be an expert on all things QB, replaced him. IMO, Casey has a better deep ball than Card showed. Rewatch the OU game. So I'm not sure what you're selling, but I'm not buying.
What you saw yesterday was a kid trying to make something happen and taking a risk. He's human. Damn him.
The problem we saw with Card is he's light on the leadership, run ability is quite limited, and the OL doesn't give the time for a drop back passer to be effective. We covered all of this weeks ago and the truth hasn't changed.
Card can't make the throws that Casey can't. I think that idea is your real problem here. Take a look at Card's TD throws and their distance. Then take a look at Casey's. It leaves you with no point here.
