Positives to take from this, since there aren't many:

1. Bijan had a good 1st half. 

2. Jaylan Ford played a very good game. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Kwiatkowski is not the defensive guru that he was supposed to be, plus he doesnt exactly have a shelf full of playmakers on defense

Well.... he stopped Mike Leach.

going into the year I would have said our interior D line was THE strength of the team. I don’t even know if they’re on the field in the 4th quarter the past 3 weeks.

I’ll add to this.... the first HUGE mistake Sark made was passing on Ash.

Honest question is it the defensive scheme or our players not filling the gaps due to not shedding blocks, over pursuing, or ultimately not doing their job by taking risks and getting burned.  If we can’t stop the run we are going to lose more games

CT played a crappy game, is it bad enough to warrant getting benched ? is his hand/thumb worse than he is admitting to the coaches or even himself...

The reason I ask even though overshown is one of my favs he gets burned a lot too.  I realize he was injured this game.  But it seems like this happens a lot.  The defense appears undisciplined to me

It could be strength and conditioning.  We stop the run good for about the first half but gassed.  We gassed last week.  It’s 75 degrees down there today.  The best strength guy in the country is Jerry Schmidt at A&M.  He was at OU for years and I guess Jimbo money whipped him and now he’s at A&M.  You can see it in their offensive and defensive lines.  It wasn’t a fluke against Alabama.  They were getting massive pressure rushing 4 against Alabama and nobody does that. They sure as hell don’t gas either.

Sark and to some extent PK have been badly outreached in the 2nd half.

Two weeks in a row is no coincidence.

Why is it that mack, charley mensa and now shark get outcoached. Cant recall the last time. Tx coach out coached an opponent.

Yes absolutely not being able to sustain a drive keeps them on the field is a big factor.

I will have to give Sark and Kwiatkowski a pass for now, they inherited this squad, with the exception of Bijan and maybe Overshown and Worthy, UT doesnt have enough playmakers, if this was year 3 I would be calling for  major changes but this is Year 1 from the TH show

Agree. I don't know if you caught it, but the camera did. Sark was squatting down, looking down, and yelling. It was midway through the fourth. You could tell the frustration was high.

As for our OL, they're going to get someone killed.

How can a team that looked so good the 1st Half in the last two games look so bad in the 2nd Half? How come Riley and Gundy can make halftime adjustments, but we can't? It's mind-boggling, not to mention embarrassing.

Defense balled out for much of this game, but were on the field way too long while the offense floundered. I don't blame PK for this one.
